Wedding is a bond between two souls, two souls brought together for a reason, two souls who are meant to stay together for eternity. As exciting as a wedding is for one, what follows it is even more exciting – the Honeymoon!
I recently got married to my highschool sweetheart whom I have been dating for 7 years and as exciting as the wedding preparations were, the honeymoon was amazing. My hubby and I decided to explore the beautiful valley of Kashmir. I have been there before, but the honeymoon added a different touch to the place – it was just magical, filled with passion and romance.
There is no dearth of Accommodation options in Kashmir, but you have to be smart enough to choose the right one. We stayed at the Heevan Resort, Srinagar. And true to what people say, it is indeed the “Venice of the East”.
Perfectly nested in the lap of the nature and surrounded by the Zabarwan Mountains, this hotel is a the perfect Hotel in Kashmir. It’s a five minutes walk away from the Dal Lake and some major tourists spots like the Tulip Garden, Nishat Bagh and Chashme-Shahi.
Their lush green lawns are perfect for an evening stroll, so if you end up staying at this hotel make sure to explore the nearby areas and yes, don’t forget to dine at their dining outlets.
Given an opportunity, I’ll like to go and stay their again!!
